We are pleased to announce that we’re merging IndieFolio Network and GetCreator.
From today, we’ll be called IndieFolio. Simple.
Work has dramatically changed in the last 2 years.
COVID-19 forced entire populations to work from home. Infrastructure was dramatically adapted to support remote work. This was extraordinary. Companies started changing how their workforce was organised, many deciding to go fully remote.
Being home to a large community of tens of thousands of remote workers, it was obvious for us to leverage the potential. In January 2021, GetCreator was born to help fast growing companies use on-demand creative talent as a strategy.
After 800+ projects in a little over a year, we are excited to see our solution transforming design operations in some of India’s largest companies.
The biggest reason for GetCreator’s success was IndieFolio’s large community. A managed marketplace infrastructure built on top of a large community was a perfect match.
Running 2 brands which were so symbiotic made us question whether we were maximising value creation for the community. Constant conversations with multiple stakeholders around this topic led us to the current decision.
We’re retaining the OG - IndieFolio. It’s a brand name which already resonates with a massive network of professionals.
However, the IndieFolio platform will be replaced by the GetCreator marketplace.
All users of GetCreator will be redirected to https://www.indiefolio.com.
For now, the old version of the IndieFolio platform can be found on www.indiefolio.com.
Over the next three months, we will phase out the platform altogether. Everyone’s IndieFolio accounts on the platform will be terminated.
All users of IndieFolio are requested to port their portfolios to a different portfolio site. You can even write to us on [email protected] if you need help downloading all your portfolio media in a ZIP file format.
We’re most proud of the community we’ve built. And that’s not going anywhere!
